It's easy to overlook some important tasks necessary to end the year well and start the new year on a better note, simply because of the "rush hour" stress you put on yourself within this season.
To help you overcome this, we've put together 30 end-of-year tasks to help minimize your stress in these last few weeks and help you plan better for the upcoming year.

Business
- [ ] Review and update your sales plan
- [ ] Review and update your marketing plan
- [ ] Review and update your pricing plan/strategy (Winning Pricing Strategy is a great book to help with that)
- [ ] Conduct a social media and digital marketing audit to be sure all profiles are accurate and all links are working
- [ ] Conduct a website audit (update information, check for broken links, SEO etc) if you have a website or get one for your company before the year ends if you do not
- [ ] Back up your computer, all your files, your phone and create needed hardcopies or download PDFs from cloud files
- [ ] Review and update vendor files and contracts
Employees
- [ ] Conduct annual performance reviews
- [ ] Distribute annual or performance bonuses (if applicable)
- [ ] Conduct trainings and align with your team on the upcoming company goals
- [ ] Organise and staff retreat, party or outing to help you and your team unwind (it has been a tough year, you deserve it!)
- [ ] Evaluate staff needs for the coming year
Finances
- [ ] Run all year-end software reports (eg. Quickbooks, etc)
- [ ] Pay outstanding debts in full (if you have the resources to)
- [ ] Follow up on your debtors (hire debt collectors if necessary)
- [ ] Prepare and review your financial statements to see where you're profitable - and where you're not
- [ ] Meet with your accountant or tax preparer to schedule tax dates and estimate taxes due

Clients / Customers
